Red Sox urge fans to arrive early for final regular season series against Toronto to enjoy ceremonies celebrating David Ortiz

The Red Sox urge fans to arrive early and take public transportation to Fenway Park this weekend for the final regular season series against Toronto when the club will celebrate 10-time All-Star and three-time World Series Champion David Ortiz.

On Friday, September 30, and Saturday, October 1, fans are asked to be in their seats by 6:30 p.m. to enjoy the ceremonies before the 7:10 p.m. games.
On Sunday, October 2, fans are asked to arrive at the ballpark by 1 p.m. and be in their seats by 2 p.m.

Fenway Park gates will open two hours prior to game time for all three games.

The club anticipates heavy traffic around Fenway Park during the weekend series and encourages fans to take public transportation.

In addition to taking the popular T to Kenmore Square, the commuter rail trains arrive at Yawkey Station, just 511 feet from the doorstep of Fenway Park. Yawkey Station is part of the commuter rail's Framingham/Worcester line, which runs from Worcester to South Station.
