Rangers purchase contract of LHP Cesar Ramos

The Texas Rangers on Monday purchased the contract of LHP Cesar Ramos from Triple-A Round Rock.

The Rangers also optioned RHP Nick Martinez to Triple-A and transfered RHP Keone Kela to 60-day DL with an elbow injury.

Ramos will get the start on the mound for the Rangers when they face the New York Yankees on Monday night.
