San Diego Padres executive chairman Ron Fowler and managing partner Peter Seidler today announced the departure of Padres president and chief executive officer Mike Dee.
Named team president on July 17, 2013, Dee spent 10 years total with San Diego over two stays. During his tenure as CEO, the Padres hired current general manager A.J. Preller and manager Andy Green.
Dee previously worked for the Padres from 1995-2002, beginning as director of corporate development before being promoted to executive vice president of business affairs.
