ATLANTA - The Atlanta Braves on Thursday placed INF Gordon Beckham on the 15-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain.
Beckham had 27 hits, eight doubles, two home runs, 16 RBIs and a batting average of .284 in 95 at bats in 31 games for the Braves this season.
In a corresponding move, the Braves selected the contract of INF Brandon Snyder from the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves.
