NEW YORK -- The New York Yankees on Sunday recalled RHP Luis Cessa from the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders and optioned RHP Nick Goody to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
In nine games with the RailRiders in 2016, Cessa has posted a 2-1 record, along with a 3.63 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP in 39.2 innings pitched.
Cessa also posted a 2.57 ERA in seven innings pitched in three games with the Yankees this season.
Goody posted a 4.91 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP in 22 innings pitched in 19 games with the Yankees so far in 2016.
