The Cardinals rank 2nd in the Grapefruit League standings with a 19-8-3 record, posting their most spring wins since 2009 (19-12-2), which are their most wins since moving from St. Peteresburg to Jupiter
in 1998.

*The Cardinals won 21 games in 1997...St. Louis is trailing only the New York Yankees (22-7).
* The Cardinals pitching staff leads Spring Training with a 3.33 ERA and ranks 3rd in fielding percentage (.981).
* Last season, the Cardinals ranked 25th in fielding during the regular season.

THE RIVERAS

After yesterday's 2-3 game against the Marlins, T.J. Rivera is now hitting .303 (10-33) through 12  games.

* T.J's four doubles are tied for second on the team, and his nine RBI
are fourth on the team.
* René Rivera also picked up two hits yesterday, and is now hitting .375 (6-16) with one double..
* Rene and T.J. both represented Team Puerto Rico in the WBC.
