Brewers designate LHP Sam Freeman, recall RHP/C Junior Guerra

The Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday designated LHP Sam Freeman for assignment.

Freeman has a 12.91 ERA and has allowed 13 hits and two home runs in 7.2 innings pitched in seven games with the Brewers this season.

In a corresponding move, the Brewers recalled RHP/C Junior Guerra from the Triple-A Colorado Springs Sky Sox.


In four games with the Sky Sox this season, Guerra has a 4.63 ERA in 23.1 innings pitched.
