Salem Red Sox acquire INF Jordan Betts

The Salem Red Sox acquired INF Jordan Betts from the Double-A Portland Sea Dogs.

In 13 games with Portland this season, Betts had one home run, two doubles and seven hits in 46 at bats. He had a batting average of .152, and 48 plate appearances.

To make room for Betts on their roster, Salem transferred INF Mitchell Gunsolus transferred to Low-A Greenville.

The Salem Red Sox are a Class-A Advanced affiliate of the MLB's Boston Red Sox.
