Following their game on Wednesday night, the Detroit Tigers optioned RHP Dustin Molleken to the Triple A Toledo Mud Hens.
In a corresponding move, prior to their game on Thursday, the Tigers recalled LHP Daniel Norris, who started Thursday's game against the Seattle Mariners.
The Tigers also announced Thursday that RHP Warwick Saupold is scheduled to begin an injury rehab assignment Thursday with Toledo.
The Tigers also reportedly signed their 2016 first-round draft pick Matt Manning on Thursday.
Manning will reportedly sign for the slot value of his selection, a $3,505,800 bonus. The Tigers have not confirmed the terms of the deal
