Braves recall RHP Aaron Blair, who is unable to solve Mets

The Atlanta Braves on Sunday selected the contract of RHP Aaron Blair from Triple-A Gwinnett.

To make room for Blair on the team's roster, the Braves optioned LHP Matt Marksberry to Gwinnett.

Blair had the start on the mound for the Braves on Sunday in their 3-2 loss to the New York Mets.

"Going out there and giving your team a chance to win is always the goal," Blair said. "But there are still some things I need to work on. Hopefully, the next outing will be a little better."

Blair gave up three runs over 5 1/3 innings for the Braves.
