HOUSTON, TX - Houston Astros manager AJ Hinch on Friday announced that the team on Saturday will activate LHP Tony Sipp from the paternity list.
In 13 games with the Astros this season, Sipp has an 0-1 record, a 4.66 ERA and has given up only five runs in 9.2 innings pitched.
As a corresponding move, the Astros will option C Evan Gattis to the Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks.
